Casey Miller, Executive Director
Casey began his career in cemetery and funeral home management in 1982 and has been actively involved with cemetery and funeral management since that time. In addition to his responsibilities at Divine Mercy Funeral Home and Catholic Cemetery in Fort Wayne, Casey is the Executive Director of the Indiana Cemetery Association. Casey has also served as the Chairman of the Indiana State Board of Funeral and Cemetery Service in Indianapolis.
Casey and his wife Gloria have two children, Neal of Chicago and Lauren of Stevenson, WA.
Mark McCrocklin, President-Elect
Mark has extensive experience in problem-solving for funeral homes, cemeteries, and special event facilities. He has gone from seasonal grounds worker to corporate vice president in his nearly 41-year career. Mark has worked as a sales advisor and sales manager, cemetery groundsman and supervisor, location manager, combination manager, event venue manager, and now as a facilities manager responsible for multiple locations with nearly 1,000 acres of land. Active in service to the profession, he is past president and now a board member of the Indiana Cemetery Association.

Amanda Klei, Secretary / Treasurer
Amanda Klei has been with Garland Brook Cemetery in Columbus, Indiana as the Executive Director since 2008. Garland Brook is a 100 acre, not for profit, cemetery with an onsite staff of eight (8). Amanda heads up the staff being involved in everything from finances to marketing and community support. Her true passion is working personally with each family, whether it be helping them though a loss, pre-planning or customizing their memorial or monument.
With a background in landscaping, she will also be found working on the grounds with the crew planting flowers and cemetery beautification projects. Amanda balances her life with husband, Steve and two children (Lilah 13 and Mason 18). She is a Columbus native who loves her community. Amanda enjoys the outdoors, camping and hiking with her family. She also sponsors, manages and plays in her adult co-ed kickball team, holding the record for most championships won in Bartholomew County!

Don Remenschneider, Past President
Don is a Fort Wayne IN. native that has been serving as the Concordia Cemetery Association superintendent for the past 41 years. He is familiar with operating a location that was established in 1850, along with developing a new location, establishing a sales program, mausoleum complex, columbarium gardens, and the only natural burial grounds in the area. Don was the project manager for setting up and relocating two cemeteries, one for the city of Fort Wayne, and the other for a local church. He is very involved with helping smaller cemeteries and managing their operations.

Chris Cooke, Past President
Chris Cooke was Superintendent of City Cemeteries for the City of Evansville, Indiana for almost 17 years. During his 16-plus years in the deathcare industry, Cooke was the class of 2013 Valedictorian of the International Cemetery Cremation Funeral Association University and in 2014 completed the ICCFA University’s Master’s Program. In 2017 he was recognized by the ICCFA as a Certified Cemetery Executive. While in 2018 he led Oak Hill Cemetery and Arboretum to a runner-up spot for the American Cemetery Excellence Award from the American Cemetery and Cremation Magazine. Cooke is also a past chairman and a current board member of the Indiana State Board of Funeral and Cemetery Service since 2014. Additionally, he is the Past President and a current board member of the Indiana Cemetery Association.
In late 2024, Cooke became the Town Manager for the Town of Newburgh, Indiana, but still maintains a presence within the industry. He resides in Evansville, Indiana with his wife Liesl Disch and rescue dogs Walter, Honey, and Lucie Mae; and rescue cat Hilly Kitty Cooke.
Ted Mau, Past President
Ted first joined Buchanan Group in 1989 with Washington Park Services, Inc. which built the first cemetery/funeral combination in Marion County. He is responsible for all administrative systems for the Buchanan Group associated companies, and oversees human resources, cemetery accounting and investment management. Ted has worked in the accounting and management areas for 30 years after obtaining an undergraduate degree in accounting from Indiana University. He received his CPA designation in 1989 and received an MBA from Butler University in 2000, is the Past Chairman of the Indiana State Board of Funeral and Cemetery Service, Past President of the Indiana Cemetery Association, Past Trustee of Martin University, and a member of the Indianapolis Salvation Army Advisory Board.
Thomas Ohnstad
With over 35 years of dedicated service in the Cemetery Products Division at Matthews International, Tom has been a longtime trusted partner to Cemetery Professionals. He takes pride in supporting these professionals as they guide families through the grieving process. By providing high-quality products and services, Tom helps ensure that loved ones are remembered and honored in meaningful ways.
As the supplier representative for the Indiana Cemetery Association, Tom collaborates closely with the dedicated professionals on the ICA board.
A lifelong resident of Chicagoland, Tom enjoys being with his family, cooking, listening to music, and going to the theater in his free time.
Leon M. Glon
Leon Glon joined the University in 1989, serving as Assistant Sexton at Cedar Grove Cemetery. He has since assumed the positions of sexton (2001) and manager (2009). Prior to coming to Notre Dame, he worked for eight years at St. Joseph PRC cemetery in South Bend.
During his 35 year tenure, Leon has overseen several notable projects that have changed the face of Cedar Grove. They include: the establishment of the Infant Section; a 2004 renovation of All Souls Chapel; the design and construction of Our Lady of Sorrows Mausoleum Complex between 2007 and 2013; and the 2022 addition of the St. Joseph the Worker Columbarium for faculty and staff.
Leon completed the four-year Catholic Cemetery Conference School of “Leadership and Management Excellence” Program at John Carroll University in 2009. In 2014, he received his Certified Catholic Cemetery Executive designation. He has served the conference as both a committee member and a member of the Board of Directors.
A native of the South Bend area, Leon holds an Associate of General Studies from Indiana University, South Bend. He is actively involved in community activities, including St. Stanislaus Kostka Catholic Church and the Crumstown Conservation Club where he has served as officer in several positions. He is the proud father of two adult children, Emily and Garrett.
